This year’s Run for the River is part of the 5th annual Rock the River FXBG Community Festival. Expect some amazing music, art, and local craft beer – plus a variety of local vendors and family events. All of it is happening at Old Mill Park from 11 am until 8 pm on June 6. If you are a river lover, you can also compete in the 40th Great White Water Canoe Race. Go to the ACA website for details and registration.

More info about Rock the River FXBG can be found at www.rocktheriverfxbg.com. Everyone is welcome and runners will have the option of purchasing beer tasting tickets immediately after the race. The race timing will be handled by Race Timing Unlimited – and remember that part of your registration fee will be donated to the Friends of the Rappahannock. So come join us for this fun event!!

TRAILS ARE CLOSED FOR 24 HOURS/1 INCH OF RAIN! If 1/4 inch falls after 9 p.m. on race day eve, the race will have to be postponed. We will adhere to that rule, so please check the website by 5 pm prior to race day for any postponements. This policy will ONLY APPLY TO THE RACES HELD ON THE QUARRY TRAILS!
